Revealing RESCUING RAVEN’s Word Cloud #Deadwood #WildDeadwoodTales

RR-WordCloud-BkgBlackWhat’s a Word Cloud? It’s a picture of words with each word’s size representing how often the word is found in a source of text – such as my short story, RESCUING RAVEN, that released May 1st in the WILD DEADWOOD TALES anthology. It’s also a fun way to show what happens when Raven and Charlie meet in Deadwood, South Dakota in 1876!

How did I create Rescuing Raven’s Word Cloud picture?

HELLO WORDLE!

Wordle is a free online program that (in the words of Wordle‘s creator, Jonathan Feinberg) “is a toy for generating ‘word clouds’ from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text.

Note: at the time of posting this blog, Wordle required Java and said it would run on Internet Explorer or Safari on Mac (but not in a Chrome browser).
