Getting Robyn Ready for Christmas #Summer #Writing #Christmas #Book

GettingRobynReadyForChristmasIt’s been over a month since I was in South Dakota. What’s been happening since?

Well, I’ve switched gears and dove into a Brides of Noelle story that Elisabeth Burke, Amanda McIntyre, and Danica Favorite helped me brainstorm while at the Wild Deadwood Reads event (early in June).

If you’ve read The Calling Birds, then you’ve heard about Jack Peregrine’s brother Max. This Christmas, Max will be returning to Noelle to meet his match in… Robyn: a Christmas Bride.

Yes, I’m planning to have a heroine named Robyn so I can have a robin on the cover of my next story set in Noelle, Colorado. I think it could match the chickadee on the cover of Jack and Birdie’s story quite nicely.

What do you think? And who from Noelle would you like to see join Max and Robyn’s adventure?

Absentminded Grandpa Gus will, of course, be a big part of this new story. He’ll be making trouble and – if he has his way – I’m sure he’ll be stealing the show and my heart, again

Writing takes time so my blogs might be extra short for the next few months! Trying to write like the wind – while trying not to lose my new South Dakota hat (which is actually from Devils Tower, Wyoming) 🤠
